About

Hi, I’m Dhanush.
I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Italian Food and Wine at the University of Padova. My work focuses on how food connects with memory, emotion, and identity and how emerging technologies like AI are beginning to influence these deeply human experiences.
Through my thesis, I explore what’s gained and what’s lost when machines start cooking. Can a robot carry tradition? Can AI recreate your grandmother’s recipes? These are the questions that keep me curious.
Before this, I worked in hospitality and education organizing wine events, managing campus operations, and always enjoying the small stories behind big experiences. I’m drawn to anything that blends culture, creativity, and community.
Outside research, you’ll find me talking about food on my podcast, writing personal stories, or just trying to perfect a family recipe in a small kitchen far from home.
